Hardware Engineer – Ingolstadt area – Up to €70,000 (d / m / w)

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated multi-layer PCB layouts for FPGA-based and embedded electronic systems deployed in demanding professional technology environments
• Integrate and route high-speed communication interfaces including memory buses, high-speed serial links, and peripheral connections
• Incorporate EMC, ESD, and reliability considerations throughout the design lifecycle
• Establish board stack configurations, impedance-controlled routing strategies, and power distribution schemes for advanced PCB designs
• Conduct simulations to analyze signal and power behavior, ensuring stable operation of high-speed interfaces
• Refine PCB layouts to enhance manufacturability, product robustness, and efficiency in large-scale production
• Development of FPGA software

Requirements

• Obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or similar
• 3+ years of professional experience in PCB and Circuit design, including routing, testing, signal/power integrity, and commissioning
• Experience in multi-layer PCB design for Embedded platforms
• 2+ years experience in FPGA development using either VHDL or Verilog
• Tools: Altium, Eagle
• Fluency in German & English is mandatory
