Senior Steel Detailer

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural-steel fabrication and erection drawings

• Develop accurate shop drawings, assembly drawings and connection details

• Prepare material lists and coordinate detailing deliverables

• Review engineering drawings, specifications and design information

• Coordinate with structural engineers, fabricators and project teams

• Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies and constructability issues

• Maintain drawing quality in accordance with applicable German and European standards

Required qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

• Minimum five years of structural-steel detailing experience

• Strong experience with internationally used structural-steel detailing software

• Practical knowledge of fabrication and erection requirements

• Knowledge of German or European technical standards is preferred

• Strong English communication skills are mandatory

• German language knowledge up to B1 is preferred; candidates willing to undertake German training may also apply

• Valid passport and Indian driving licence required
