Job Description –

Position: Hardware Design Engineer

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-Time

Notice Period: Immediate to 30Days


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop SoC/Microprocessor-based hardware platforms.
  • Perform component selection based on system requirements, performance, power and cost.
  • Design schematics and electronic circuits for complex hardware systems.
  • Work on DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 and LPDDR interfaces, including memory selection and interfacing.
  • Define and review DDR/LPDDR routing, topology, impedance, length matching and layout constraints.
  • Design and review power supply circuits, including LDO, Buck/Boost and PMIC-based solutions.
  • Interface high-speed peripherals such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, MIPI, SD/eMMC, SPI, I2C and UART.
  • Work closely with PCB layout engineers on high-speed routing and signal-integrity requirements.
  • Perform hardware bring-up, board debugging and validation.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to DDR initialization, signal integrity, power integrity, clocking and high-speed interfaces.
  • Support SI/PI analysis, eye-diagram analysis and pre/post-layout reviews.
  • Review schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and hardware design documentation.
  • Work with SoC vendors and cross-functional teams including BSP, firmware, PCB and mechanical


Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in Hardware Design and Circuit Design.
  • Hands-on experience with SoC / Microprocessor-based board design.
  • Strong understanding of DDR/LPDDR architecture and memory interfaces.
  • Experience with DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 and/or LPDDR4/LPDDR5.
  • Good knowledge of schematic design, component selection and hardware architecture.
  • Understanding of high-speed PCB design principles.
  • Knowledge of SI/PI, impedance control, signal integrity, timing, skew and length matching.
  • Experience with Ethernet, PCIe, USB, MIPI, eMMC/SD and other high-speed interfaces.
  • Good understanding of power supply design and power sequencing.
  • Experience in board bring-up, debugging and hardware validation.
