Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, collaborate and assist on the design and analysis of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with principal engineers and project managers to develop innovative solutions.
• Mentor and lead less experienced civil designers.
• Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and simulations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Six (6) or more years of experience in civil engineering design.
• Professional Engineering License in the State of Hawaii, or ability to acquire the State of Hawaii licensure immediately after starting.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
