Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete electrical systems for robotic products.
- Develop and integrate electrical hardware from prototype to production.
- Test, validate, and optimize electrical systems for reliable real-world operation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and hardware issues during product development.
- Support system integration, prototyping, and product validation.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, and Robotics teams throughout product development.
- You will have a keen interest in robotics and developing code for robots.
- Understanding about electrical schematic and electrical component for both digital system and analog system.
- Independently design layout and routing for 2-layer and multilayer (4+) PCBs.
- Implement EMI filtering and isolation solutions between power (motors) and control (microcontroller) domains to prevent system freezes.
- Proficiency in at least one professional PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, EasyEDA).
- Strong hands-on skills: able to solder components (SMD, THT), assemble prototypes, crimp cables, and use electrical measurement tools.
- Design and develop robot electrical systems with cable management, including power distribution, motor control, and sensor integration.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of electrical systems and circuits.
- Ability to read, design, and troubleshoot electrical schematics, datasheet, then rate and select appropriate electronic components, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Design the wiring harness for the robot, including wire gauge selection (AWG) and appropriate connectors for high-current and signal integrity.
- Work closely with Mechanical and Firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and control systems.
