a growing medical-device company, is looking for a hands-on Junior R&D Project & Design Engineer to join our R&D team.

This role combines mechanical design and product development with real project ownership - taking ideas from concept and prototyping through testing and implementation, working closely with R&D, QA, RA, Manufacturing, Operations, and external suppliers.

What You'll Do:

✅ Drive R&D projects from planning through completion

✅ Build and track project plans, milestones, and action items

✅ Coordinate cross-functional activities and keep projects moving

✅ Identify risks and dependencies and proactively solve them

✅ Perform hands-on mechanical design and product development

✅ Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings

✅ Develop prototypes and support design iterations and testing

✅ Support material and manufacturing-process selection

✅ Work with suppliers on technical development

✅ Support V&V, design reviews, risk management, and documentation

What You'll Bring:

🔹 Medical devices industry experience - required

🔹 B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field

🔹 2-5 years' experience in mechanical engineering / product development / R&D

🔹 Hands-on 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks)

🔹 Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes

🔹 Experience with prototyping and mechanical testing

🔹 Strong organizational and project coordination skills

🔹 A proactive, hands-on mindset with real ownership

🔹 Fluent English

Nice to have: Design Control / Risk Management / V&V familiarity, Minitab, global supplier/cross-functional experience.
