Lead Design Engineer (Human)

The Mechanical Development team designs the drives, structural parts, and peripherals of our robots. From first concept to manufacturing-ready drawing, this is where lightweight, precise, and series-ready components come to life.

Your mission & challenges

You provide technical leadership for the design team, own the mechanical development status, and bring the design to series maturity on schedule.

• Providing technical leadership and coordination for the design team
• Owning the design status, bills of materials, and release processes
• Ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets in mechanical development
• Conducting design reviews and coordinating with architecture, simulation, and industrialization
• Advancing design guidelines and CAD methodology

• Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable
• Several years of design experience, ideally with technical leadership responsibility
• Very good CAD and PDM/PLM skills
• Experience taking prototypes into series production
• Assertive, structured, and team-oriented
