Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilize technical knowledge of semiconductor device physics to enable competitive technology through process and parametric improvements
- Drive process and device improvements through characterization, test, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation
- Ownership of technology parametric performance, parametric Cpk improvements
- Parametric test dispositions including root cause determination for scrap or outliers, definition and evaluations of experiments to improve processes
- Product flow creation/review
- Short flow and test chip development
- Partnering with the RET team to validate OPC and make improvements, as appropriate
- Cross functional team leadership to support the transfer, development, qualification, and manufacturing of advanced analog and CMOS technologies.
- Work with multiple process, integration, product, quality, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve goals
- Work closely with the product groups to identify and optimize the process performance to meet critical final device parameters to enable game changing products in the market
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Masters in EE, Chemical, Material Science Engineering or semiconductor specific: solid state physics, applied physics or quantum mechanics
- 5 years of experience working in a semiconductor factory with specific experience in advanced CMOS semiconductor devices (90nm and below) and analog technologies
- 5 years of experience in process integration and device
- Ph.D. in EE, Chemical, Material Science Engineering or semiconductor specific: solid state physics, applied physics or quantum mechanics
- Demonstrated experience and ability to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries
- Demonstrated technical and practical understanding of advanced CMOS/analog semiconductor device physics and integration
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrated experience and ability to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
