Design Engineer, Powersports

Role Overview: Contribute to developing functional prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles by researching and applying new technologies, supporting business goals, and maintaining global vehicle quality.

Key Responsibilities: Develop component and system layouts using CAD, communicate specifications via drawings, and ensure documentation accuracy. Achieve cost targets through optimized designs and implement cost reduction ideas. Manage work schedules, coordinate resources, and communicate project progress. Support the development of new technologies and assist in problem-solving to improve market quality. Create and develop ideas for technological advancements with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; experience in automotive or Powersports preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and confidentiality skills. Proficient in FTA, FMEA, tolerance analysis, CAD, and product development schedules. Ability to analyze root causes and develop specifications.

Working Conditions: Regular desk work with frequent keyboarding, possible travel, and exposure to typical office/shop hazards. Overtime may be required, with adherence to safety policies.
