Job Description

Stefanini Group is seeking an experienced Network Technical Architect to join our Hybrid Cloud & Infrastructure (HCI) cluster, within the Infrastructure Services Division.

The successful candidate will design and implement secure, resilient enterprise network solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, covering SASE, ZTNA, next-generation firewalls, SD-WAN, and complex routing.

This role combines presales support for solutioning with extensive hands-on implementation and acts as the last level of support for operational teams. It may include occasional travelling and direct technical discussions with vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Implementation: Architect, deploy, and migrate enterprise network solutions end to end, including SASE, ZTNA, next-generation firewalls, SD-WAN, and campus and data center networks, remaining hands-on from day 1.
  • Presales Support: Act as the technical authority in presales engagements, qualifying requirements, designing target architectures, estimating effort, and contributing to RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and customer presentations.
  • Complex Routing and Cloud Networking: Design and implement complex routing environments (BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, traffic engineering) and cloud networking architectures in AWS and Azure, including hybrid connectivity.
  • Operational Escalation: Act as the last level of support for operational teams, leading root cause analysis and resolution of the most complex network and security incidents.
  • Vendor Engagement: Drive technical discussions with vendors and technology partners, including product evaluations, proof of concepts, roadmap reviews, and support escalations.
  • Documentation and Standards: Produce high-level and low-level designs, migration plans, and operational runbooks; define network standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
  • Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and structured knowledge transfer to operational teams and clients on new network technologies and practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve network architectures and strategies to adapt to changing technologies and business needs.

Job Requirements

  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise networks in complex, multi-vendor environments
  • At least 5 years of experience as a network architect, owning end-to-end solution design for large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform hands-on implementation from day 1, combining architecture responsibilities with direct configuration and deployment work.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Mandatory: Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent). Bachelor's degree in any field with equivalent professional experience relevant for the job.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level knowledge of routing and switching in complex environments, including BGP, OSPF,route redistribution, and traffic engineering.
  • Deep hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls (e.g., Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point), covering design, implementation, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SASE and ZTNA solutions (e.g., FortiSASE, Zscaler, Netskope,Prisma Access), from architecture through rollout and day-2 operations.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, VMware VeloCloud).
  • Solid experience with cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure, including VPC/VNet design, Transit Gateway, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of network security concepts, including segmentation, IPsec and SSL VPN, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Mandatory 3 years of experience acting as technical project lead, driving the technical discussions with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, REST APIs) is considered a plus.
