With continued growth across the data center sector, this is an opportunity to join a technically driven team, work alongside experienced engineers across multiple disciplines, and build your career within one of the fastest-growing areas of the engineering industry.

The Role

We are looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to support the design and delivery of fire protection and life safety systems for mission critical and data center projects.

You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, working with multidisciplinary teams to develop compliant, effective fire protection solutions while coordinating closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop fire protection and fire alarm systems for complex mission critical facilities
  • Produce detailed and coordinated construction drawings across multiple disciplines
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Apply applicable building codes, standards, and fire protection requirements to project designs
  • Support submittal reviews, RFIs, site investigations, and construction-phase documentation
  • Work as part of a highly technical, collaborative team to deliver accurate, high-quality engineering solutions
  • Assist with other project and engineering responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
  • 1–3 years of fire protection design experience
  • E.I.T. certification preferred but not required
  • PE certification or active pursuit of licensure is a plus
  • Experience with mission critical, industrial, commercial, or data center projects is advantageous

Why This Opportunity?

This is a strong opportunity for an early-career fire protection engineer to gain exposure to the data center and mission critical market, working on technically sophisticated projects where fire protection and life safety are critical to the operation of the facility.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, work alongside experienced multidisciplinary engineers, and build a career in a sector experiencing significant long-term growth.
