Role Overview:

We are seeking a driven, high-potential Electrical Engineer, New Graduate to embark on a foundational engineering career supporting plant power infrastructure and industrial automation in Bloomsdale, Missouri, United States. You will participate in intensive operational rotations, assisting senior engineers with electrical preventative maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and capital upgrade projects in a heavy industrial setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured rotational engineering development program across plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Assist in inspecting, troubleshooting, and testing electrical switchgear, transformers, and drive systems.
  • Learn and support industrial PLC programming, automation logic updates, and field sensor calibrations.
  • Update plant electrical blueprints, documentation, and preventative maintenance task lists.
  • Comply with all workplace safety regulations, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (recent graduate or graduating senior).
  • Solid understanding of circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, and control theory.
  • Prior internship, co-op, or academic lab experience in an industrial, utility, or manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Basic familiarity with PLC platforms, MATLAB, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive mindset, strong desire to learn hands-on industrial systems, and excellent teamwork skills.
