Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Participate in development projects for highly integrated electrical sub-systems with PCBs and FPGAs
- Participate in FPGA development including architecture design, logic design, PCB integration and validation
- Participate in PCB development including architecture design, component selection, schematic design, layout review and PCB bring-up / validation.
- Create test plans and perform technical analysis to validate new design performance at bench and system level
- Generate design documentation through design phases, along with presentations for design reviews
- Apply systems engineering principles to optimize new design at system level
- MSEE degree or BSEE with 2+ years of related work experience
- Deep knowledge of electrical engineering design principles, including signal integrity, high-speed digital design, and hardware-software integration.
- Experience of FPGA and embedded board level design is preferred
- Motor and motion controls knowledge and experience is a plus
- Knowledge of camera systems and image acquisition is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment like logic analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.
- Self-motivated, self-driven and a strong team player
- Be able to manage and work with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Be able to work with a global engineering team and other cross-functional stakeholders
- A good sense of understanding project priority dynamics and business urgency and risk impacts
