Intermediate | Senior | Associate Electrical Engineer

OCSC is expanding its Electrical Engineering team and is currently seeking experienced Intermediate, Senior and Associate Electrical Engineers to join our growing practice.

These are excellent opportunities for engineers looking to work on challenging projects, take ownership of their designs and progress their careers within a team that values clarity, technical excellence and continual progression.

The Roles

We are looking for Electrical Engineers at three levels:

Intermediate Electrical Engineer

An opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to develop their technical design expertise while working as part of multidisciplinary project teams.

You will be involved in the delivery of electrical design across a range of projects, supporting senior engineers and developing your experience across design, coordination and project delivery.

Senior Electrical Engineer

A senior-level opportunity for an engineer with strong technical design experience who can take responsibility for electrical design delivery and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other design disciplines, while also supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team.

Associate Electrical Engineer

An opportunity for an experienced electrical engineering professional who can take a leading role in electrical design and project delivery.

You will provide technical leadership, manage design delivery and work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of OCSC's M&E philosophy of clarity, excellence and continual progression.

What We're Looking For

Depending on the level, we are interested in candidates with:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong technical electrical design skills.
• Experience working on commercial, residential and/or educational projects.
• Experience delivering electrical design as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and colleagues.
• Experience appropriate to the level of the position:
• Intermediate: solid electrical design experience with a desire to develop and take on increasing responsibility.
• Senior: strong electrical design experience with the ability to lead design packages and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Intermediate: 3+ years experience in electrical design
• Senior: 6+ years experience in electrical design
• Associate: 7+ years' experience leading electrical design on projects in Ireland or the UK, with proven technical and project leadership experience.
• Chartered Engineer status is preferable for the Associate level.
