Are you a Civil Engineer with a passion for designing sustainable transport infrastructure? This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Ireland's most respected engineering consultancies, renowned for delivering some of the country's most high-profile transportation and infrastructure projects.

Working as part of a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of complex urban transport schemes, helping to shape the future of Ireland's transport network.

The Role

You will be involved in the design and coordination of transportation infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on urban environments and interfaces with light rail systems. Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you will contribute to projects from concept and detailed design through to construction support.

Previous light rail experience is desirable but not essential. Candidates with a strong background in transportation, highways or urban infrastructure design who are keen to develop in this area are encouraged to apply.

About You

You will have:

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent)
  • Approximately 3–7 years' experience in civil engineering design or construction
  • Experience working on transportation, highways or urban infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of Irish and/or UK design standards including TII, DMRB and DMURS
  • Experience preparing technical reports and design documentation
  • Familiarity with BIM environments and collaborative design processes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Desirable Experience

  • Chartered or progressing towards Chartered Engineer status
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Experience using Civil 3D, OpenRoads or similar 3D design software
  • Traffic modelling software such as LinSig, Paramics or Junctions
  • Drainage and pavement design experience
  • Light rail or rail infrastructure experience
