We are looking for a technically strong Mid-Level Product Technology Assistant / Solar & Energy Storage Service Engineer with an interest in energy storage, electrical systems and renewable energy.
You will join an international technology environment and work with solutions within Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar energy, power distribution and microgrids.
The position combines technical support, solution design, documentation and collaboration with customers, sales teams and technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the design and development of technical solutions within BESS, solar energy and electrical infrastructure
• Prepare and review electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Use AutoCAD for system design and project documentation
• Support technical sizing and selection of electrical components and equipment
• Work with solutions involving batteries, transformers, UPS systems, generators and power distribution
• Support technical proposals, quotations and customer presentations
• Cooperate with sales teams, product teams, project teams and technical specialists
• Participate in technical customer meetings and workshops
• Support project implementation, installation and on-site technical guidance
• Contribute to solution development within PV, energy storage and microgrids
Academic Background
Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree within areas such as:
• Electrical Engineering
• Automation Engineering
• Renewable Energy
• Energy Engineering
• Power Systems
• Or a similar technical discipline
Preferred Qualifications
• Approximately 2+ years of relevant technical experience is preferred
• Good understanding of electrical systems and power distribution
• Experience or knowledge within BESS / battery storage systems
• Knowledge of transformers, UPS systems, batteries, generators and power distribution
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• BIM experience is an advantage but not required
• Interest in renewable energy, solar PV and microgrid solutions
• Ability to work in a structured way with technical documentation and details
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
