Tasks:
- Commissioning, parameterization and validation of automation technologies during the industrialization of global production sites, with focus on SMT processes (reflow soldering, AOI, PCB assembly, etc.)
- Development and implementation of application and process standards across production plants
- Support and optimization of series production processes to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing
- Lead and coordinate know-how development projects for new technologies
- Create and deliver training concepts and technical trainings (internal and external, international)
- Act as technical contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, optimize and standardize processes, equipment and manufacturing methods
- Monitor technology trends and derive improvement measures
- Support equipment selection, planning and procurement activities
- Define and validate process windows and technical parameters
- Create technical documentation, work instructions and data sheets
- Participate in DFMEA/PFMEA activities and drive process improvements
- Coordinate commissioning, testing and optimization of complex production equipment
- Analyze and resolve technical issues and production disturbances
- Support customer and project communication and represent the function in external meetings
Required skills:
Must haves:
- Degree in Engineering or comparable qualification
- 5–7 years of experience in automation, production or industrialization environments
- Experience with automation solutions and manufacturing equipment
- Experience in commissioning and optimizing production and automation systems
- Strong knowledge of production processes and industrial manufacturing technologies
- Inspection processes in electronics manufacturing
- Experience with X-Ray inspection, SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection)
- Experience with equipment from Viscom, Koh Young and Parmi
- Ability to train and transfer complex technical knowledge
- Strong analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel internationally

- Experience in global manufacturing environments
- Experience leading technology implementation and standardization projects
- Knowledge of SMT processes such as reflow soldering and PCB assembly
- Language skills: German C1, English C1
