Role Overview
As a Façade Designer, you will be responsible for coordinating all design stages, managing stakeholders, and delivering optimized, buildable, and compliant solutions.
In this role, you will be engaged from the concept design phase through detailed development and implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading façade development from concept to execution, defining system selection, and establishing the technical approach
- Evaluating structural behavior and managing critical interfaces like waterproofing, slab edges, and anchoring
- Managing design risks regarding thermal, structural, and water tightness while ensuring adherence to international standards
- Collaborating with architects and clients on strategy, providing technical support to the commercial department, and approving shop drawings
- Overseeing the fabrication process for quality control and performing value engineering to optimize project costs and efficiency
- University degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in façade design, preferably in aluminium systems or architectural building envelopes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with façade performance standards and testing procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
