Starting Salary Range: $80,000-105,000
EFK Moen, LLC, is a civil engineering design consulting firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri with additional office locations in St. Charles, Missouri, Chicago and Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia. We are currently seeking a water resources design engineer for a full-time position in our St. Louis, Missouri office or one of our other office locations. Job Description
The water resources engineer will perform civil engineering design services in a team-oriented environment. Project emphasis is engineering design for both public and private sectors which range in scope from small to multimillion-dollar designs. Services are provided to a wide range of clients that include state DOTs, sewer districts and other governmental agencies - municipal, county and state.
Duties & Responsibilities
The following duties are typical for this position:
- Daily production of civil engineering design plans
- Work as part of a team to deliver quality design that adheres to the project budget and schedule
- Responsible and accountable for client/customer satisfaction and technical project execution
- Performs other job duties as assigned
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university required
- Hands-on plan preparation experience for public agency projects
- EIT Certification, PE License preferred
- Proficiency in Microstation and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D
- Working knowledge of drainage, hydrology, hydraulics and water resource standards
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other general office software
- Ability to sit at desk for extended periods of time
- Ability to type and/or use a computer for extended periods of time
- Sufficient visual ability to focus attention on extended use of electronic documents and software
