Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer (7–10 Years Experience)

Responsibilities
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering initiatives to improve productivity, labor efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
- Conduct detailed time studies, work measurement, and labor analysis to establish standard work and optimize cycle times.
- Perform line balancing, workload distribution, and manpower planning to support takt time and production goals.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through waste elimination, process optimization, and labor reduction initiatives.
- Analyze production data to improve throughput, capacity utilization, Productivity improvement areas.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing layouts, material flow, workstation design, and ergonomics.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing processes, line setups, and production readiness plans.
- Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Develop standard work, work instructions, labor standards, and process documentation.
- Perform capacity planning and identify manufacturing constraints and bottlenecks.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP).
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to implement sustainable process improvements.
- Present productivity metrics, labor utilization, and cost reduction opportunities to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Fiberglass, marine, automotive, heavy equipment, or aerospace manufacturing.
- Production launch and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Experience supporting takt time improvements and labor optimization.
