Design Engineer - Grain handling / Hybrid

Our client is a leading international manufacturer of post-harvest agricultural machinery and equipment, with expertise in grain handling (storage, drying, sorting, cleaning, etc.), seed conditioning etc. In order to strengthen their presence in Hungary and to cover the current and future workload resulting from its successful operations, the company intends to hire a new Design Engineer (contractors are also welcome).

Main Responsibilities:

• Drawing up flow diagrams and layouts related to technological installations, followed by the scaling of technological equipment in the flow, adapted to the dimensions required by the beneficiary's location (plan views).
• Detailed design of the technological installation (with different types of equipment), support structures, and other related elements (piping, supports, etc.).
• Calculation and design of resistance structures / support structures / platform structures / tower structures / supporting pillars of technological installations in accordance with the standards and regulations in force.
• Preparation of structural plans for all design stages: SF, PT, DE and of technical documentation.
• Cooperation with other design institutes.
• Participation on-site during the different phases.
• Close collaboration with the beneficiary's design teams on other specializations (architecture, civil, installations, etc.) to ensure the coherence of projects.
• Participating in solutions and proposing possible improvements.
• Assistance to different subcontractors during the manufacturing phase and during the execution works on site.

Requirements:

• Completed studies: Structural / Mechanical Engineer or similar.
• Knowledge of design standards.
• Knowledge of English and Hungarian languages.
• Specialisations: pre-dimensioning, structural calculation, verification of structural displacements, technical drawing.
• Preparation of PT documentation.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D software; knowledge of the following software is an advantage: SolidWorks, Autodesk Advance Steel, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, Autodesk Revit, Idea Statica.
• Real skills in the use of the above-mentioned softwares.
• Ability to understand flow diagrams in a technological installation.
• Experience in grain handling and/or seed conditioning and/or relevant technologies (milling, feed production etc.).
