We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen our development team working on industrial safety controllers and customer-specific embedded platforms.
Our systems are based on ARM multicore processors such as TI Sitara, combined with STM32-based control and supervision functions. The software includes low-level hardware integration, safety-related I/O handling, communication protocols, diagnostics, boot/update functionality and PLC runtime integration.
Your responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain embedded software in C
- Develop hardware-near software on ARM MCU/MPU platforms
- Work in multicore embedded environments with safety and non-safety functions
- Refine software requirements and create detailed software designs
- Implement and maintain module/unit tests
- Perform target integration, debugging and hardware testing
- Develop and integrate embedded and industrial communication interfaces
- Analyze and solve timing, performance and hardware/software integration issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality
- Maintain technical documentation and requirement traceability
- Collaborate with software, hardware and system engineers
Your profile
- 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C and hands-on experience with hardware-related, low-level development
- Solid knowledge of ARM-based MCU/MPU architectures
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle – from requirements and detailed design to implementation, testing and verification
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills directly on target hardware
- Experience with industrial communication protocols
- Ideally, experience in functional safety software development
- Fluent English and strong communication skills

- Functional safety standards such as IEC 61508 or ISO 13849

- Bootloaders and firmware update mechanisms
