Radar System Engineer (m/f/d)

- Hands-on system integration, installation, and testing of advanced radar systems for defence application
- Analyze system requirements and performance, optimize integration, diagnostics and fault management
- Collaborate with local colleagues, internal and external partners to fulfill delivery, problem solving as well as clarification of discrepancies in radar equipment
- Provide technical support and training for the customers
- Stay current with the latest industry developments and technologies
- Contribute to the development of proposals and further system improvements
- Support operation, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of radar and related subsystem specifications using existing technical documentation
- Participate in technical meetings with customers
- Support any required proposal effort with development/review
- Create and submit MRO and activity reports
- Completed Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably electrical), or comparable education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radar systems
- Knowledge of radar signal processing techniques
- Experience with antenna design and optimization
- Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility and interference
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- General knowledge of network and IT operation systems and general software applications
- Any of the following fields of experience will be considered an advantage: installation, operation and maintenance of RF, high voltage, high power equipment, liquid and air cooling systems, hydraulic equipment, IT, computers and communications, engines and generators, power distribution
- Very good Hungarian and English language skills both written and spoken
- Category B driving license
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate good level of self-initiatives, independent and self-reliant action
- Good ability to work in a team, willingness to act as techical trainer and share knowledges
- Hands-on mentality, ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical skills and experience with simulation tools
- Good communicational skills, positive attitude
