Your Primary Responsibilities


Lead Project Delivery

  • Serve as Project Manager and Engineer of Record for roadway design projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality transportation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with FDOT standards, procedures, and quality requirements.


Support Business Growth

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with FDOT, local agencies, and municipal clients.
  • Identify new opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Participate in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.


Win New Work

  • Lead or support proposal development, Letters of Response, technical approaches, and interview presentations.
  • Collaborate with teaming partners to develop competitive pursuit strategies.
  • Apply technical expertise to develop innovative and value-added solutions for clients.


Mentor and Develop Staff

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project engineers and emerging professionals.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence throughout the team.
  • Support employee development through coaching and knowledge sharing.


Deliver Excellence

  • Maintain GEG's reputation for responsive service and high-quality deliverables.
  • Champion continuous improvement in project execution and quality management.
  • Build long-term client relationships through consistent communication and successful project delivery.


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain Florida licensure through comity.
  • 8+ years of progressive roadway design experience.
  • Experience managing FDOT transportation projects, including roadway and 3R projects.
  • Strong understanding of FDOT manuals, standards, specifications, and project development processes.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Experience preparing technical proposals, Letters of Response, and interview presentations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
