Senior Stormwater Project Manager/Engineer

Mead & Hunt is seeking a Senior Stormwater Project Manager/Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater infrastructure projects for municipal and county clients throughout Florida. In this role, you’ll take ownership of technical challenging projects, guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor developing engineers, and help deliver innovative solutions that improve resiliency, protect infrastructure, and enhance the communities we serve.

Responsibilities Include

• Manage and deliver a variety of stormwater planning, modeling, analysis, and design projects
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project development
• Oversee technical quality and ensure designs meet client, regulatory, and industry standards
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for engineers and project staff
• Coordinate with municipal and county clients to develop effective stormwater solutions
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations while maintaining high-quality deliverables

Travel (10-15%) will be required.

The Successful Candidate Must Have All Of The Following

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or water resources engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least twelve (12) years of relevant stormwater experience
• PE license

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Leading stormwater design projects for municipal or county clients
• Solving complex technical challenges and developing practical engineering solutions
• Successfully managing projects while maintaining hands-on involvement in technical work
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
• Stormwater modeling and design tools such as StormWise
• Signing and sealing documents
