Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation and Automation Engineer with less than 6 years of experience to join our Global Engineering Centre team to execute International and Local projects in India. The ideal candidate will have less than 6 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those who have worked in an EPC environment, international project experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue Instrument schedule / Index, Instrument I/O list, Instrument Cable Schedule, Cable Block Diagram, JB Interconnection Drawing, Junction Box schedule, Instrument Hookup Drawings and Bulk Material take off.
- Preparing Instrument data sheets for Control valves, On-off valves, PSVs, and other field instruments like Analyzers, Level, Flow, Temperature and Pressure Transmitters and Gauges.
- Familiar in all Flow Instruments like Orifice, Magnetic, Paddle, Ultrasonic, Turbine and Vortex Flow meters.
- To have experience in complete procurement Engineering cycle of field Instruments with Datasheet preparation, RFQ, Technical Query, TBE and Vendor Document Review.
- To have experience on reviewing Mechanical packages with Static and Rotating equipments.
- Review of P&ID's, Cause & Effect Matrix, Control Philosophy.
- Review of all 2D Drawings and 3D Model with navis.
- Interdisciplinary Checking with Process, Mechanical, Piping and Civil/Structural.
- Collaborate with Technical project manager to plan and execute projects on time and on budgeted manhours
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and progress assessments to ensure project objectives are met.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure that all Instrumentation designs and installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices. Conduct quality control reviews to verify design integrity and safety.
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation Engineering
- Water Projects, Chemical Processing, Power Plant projects, Pharmaceuticals, Food Industry and/or Oil & Gas Projects experience is preferred.
- Knowledge in WTP/STP/WWTP/ETP/UPW projects added advantage.
