Senior Mechanical Engineer - Cell/Gene Therapy Design

Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing, designing, and managing all mechanical design of complex projects in the pharmaceutical and laboratory facility design field, with strong clean room design experience.
- Experience in the design of Cell & Gene and Biotherapy facilities is a plus.
- Weekly reporting to individual project managers on project status, budget, and schedule
- Generate and review calculations, equipment specifications, controls drawings, and construction drawings.
- Maintain familiarity with current industry standards, trends, technologies, building codes and cGMP standards.
- Develop proposals and client presentations.
- Travel to sites approximately 15-20% of the time
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and PE License
- 10 to 15 years’ experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and co-workers
- Ability to set priorities, to be self-disciplined and consistent.
- Ability to muti-task between different project assignments
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360
