Join Signify Dynalite's R&D team and help develop intelligent building control products deployed in some of the world's most iconic commercial, hospitality, and public infrastructure projects.
Based at our Moorebank, Sydney facility, you'll work within a multidisciplinary engineering team developing innovative connected building and lighting control solutions from concept through to production. With R&D and manufacturing co-located on site, you'll have the unique opportunity to rapidly prototype, test, refine, and launch products while gaining direct visibility across the entire product development lifecycle and the real-world impact of your designs.
What You’ll Do
- Research into new technologies, electronics components, and circuits.
- Development of electrical hardware for lighting controls from concept to completion.
- Design verification and validation, to ensure required functionality, compliance, quality, cost & manufacturability.
- Liaise with other local and global R&D colleagues and teams, material suppliers and manufacturers globally.
- BSc/MSc degree in Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering, with 2 + years of commercial experience in Analogue & Digital electronics design
- Strong proficiency in Altium E-CAD (PCB Design) & MS Office suite. SolidWorks M-CAD, Adobe suite and programming languages such as C, C++ and Python would be an advantage.
- Design experience with digital wired and wireless communication PHY layers implementation, microcontroller circuits and peripherals, analogue and digital circuits and power supplies.
- Understanding of IEC/EN and UL standards would be an advantage.
- Ability to work unsupervised and to take ownership of tasks and projects, with a good understanding of Project Management fundamentals and ability to work effectively in a global multi-site, multi-cultural R&D and Manufacturing Team environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on practical skills with the ability to build and test prototypes
- Understanding of project management fundamentals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
