What You Will Do
- Support project teams in the design and analysis of water resources design projects.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis.
- Assist in the development of master drainage plans.
- Prepare and review engineering documents and reports.
- Prepare and review plans, specification and bid documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- 0-3 years in water resources/public works. Resume projects should attempt to demonstrate experience in channels design, storm drain analysis and design, watershed modeling, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and master drainage planning. New grads are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree.
- Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or plan on obtaining within six months of start date.
- Have a current Texas EIT license or the ability to obtain within 2 years of employment
- Proficiency in Autodesk, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS Pro.
- Familiarity with XP-SWMM, InfoWorks ICM.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, self-directed yet a team player, with a focus on quality, integrity and success
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
