Formwork Senior Design Engineer

SGB by BrandSafway is seeking dynamic and self-motivated Formwork Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Egypt.

We are looking for candidates with proven experience in the formwork and shoring industry, who possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across, cross-functional teams.

Candidates must be currently based in Egypt and available for immediate online interviews.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Develop and design formwork systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.

•Perform structural analysis of formwork and shoring designs to ensure they meet load-bearing capacity requirements and project specifications.

•Produce detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and calculations for formwork systems using CAD software.

•Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in formwork and shoring technologies and incorporate them into designs when applicable.

•Prepare comprehensive materials lists for formwork and shoring systems, ensuring that the required materials align with project specifications and are available in stock.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

•A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in formwork and shoring within the construction industry.

•Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and formwork design tools (e.g., Tekla, RSTAB) is essential.

•Strong knowledge of international and local building codes, safety standards, and regulations (e.g., Eurocodes, OSHA standards).

•Ability to identify and address challenges related to design, materials, and project constraints, providing practical and efficient solutions.

•Skilled in working both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team environment.

•Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•Proficiency in English language.
