Mechanical Design Engineer

Design, research, build, test, and improve mechanical equipment, Systems and automation systems. Use CAD software to design factory automation systems and equipment.

• Develop structural designs for products with the use of CAD (AutoCAD -SolidWorks) and other software programs.
• Assist in developing FEA model analysis using Ansys (or other simulation software)
• Assess project requirements and system specifications based on international standards, industrial requirement and regulations.
• Assist in designing Mechanical systems/structures.
• Assist in developing manufacturing drawings and Bill of Material.
• Design electro-mechanical components and follow up on implementation.
• Assist in developing and testing design models with the use of software programs to assess feasibility.
• Assist in the development and applying test plans.
• Integrate the system and perform initial and field tests.
• Participate in product assembly.
• Assist in implementing Quality Management system (ISO 9001:2015)
• Follow all HSE Requirements.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Technical Skills

• Solid works advanced level.
• Using EX -DFM, DFA Excellence.
• Sheet metal design experience.
• Factory layout using AutoCAD

Personal Skills

• Bachelor of Engineering with a Specialization in Mechatronics, Electrical or Communication Engineering.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of verbal and written English.
• The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
