CCN is currently executing the Dimitrie Gerota Emergency Hospital Project for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Bucharest, SRU Iasi (Spitalul Regional de Urgenta Iasi,) SRU Cluj (Spitalul Regional de Urgenta Cluj), Children Hospital Cluj and continues to expand its international presence through major construction and healthcare projects.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our teams working on major hospital construction project in Bucharest Hospital Projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop electrical shop drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation for hospital and complex building projects.
• Design LV electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, power systems, emergency power systems, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV systems.
• Perform electrical engineering calculations, including: load estimation, cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis, protection coordination and selectivity, lighting calculations.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), panel schedules, equipment layouts, and detailed design drawings.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, medical equipment, and other engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate suspended ceiling layouts and in-ceiling MEP installations with architectural and mechanical design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical design for building services, preferably in hospital, healthcare, or other complex building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (BIM), Dialux/Relux, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of applicable local regulations, IEC, BS, NFPA, and other relevant international standards.
• Experience in preparing: electrical load calculations, single Line Diagrams (SLDs), lighting and power layouts, cable routing and cable sizing calculations, voltage drop and short-circuit calculations, earthing and lightning protection designs, extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
• Good command of English and Romanian, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams and under project deadlines.
