- Analyzing topographical, geospatial, and geotechnical data to create realistic and reliable models.
- Performing sizing calculations and engineering analyses for road designs, water management systems, and other infrastructure networks.
- Collaborating with project teams:
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs comply with specifications and local standards.
- Coordinating with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure the technical feasibility of projects.
- Analyzing project data and conducting simulations:
- Integrating geographic data and other information from site surveys into BIM models to support a more efficient design and construction process.
- Using simulations to evaluate the impact of designs on the environment, costs, and project schedules.
- Supporting documentation and reporting:
- Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- A minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with Autodesk InfraWorks and Civil 3D.
- Autodesk InfraWorks: Detailed 3D modelling of infrastructure projects and execution of simulations based on realistic scenarios.
- Autodesk Civil 3D: Road design, drainage system analysis, and management of topographical and geotechnical data.
- BIM (Building Information Modeling): Proficiency in using BIM to optimize design processes and collaboration between different teams.
- Thorough knowledge of infrastructure design and modelling.
- Strong knowledge of design principles for highways, primary roads, and other infrastructure elements.
