Transportation Engineer

One of the top growing consultancies in Florida is looking for experienced Transportation engineers to work on FDOT and municipal processes in an of their major locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the development of roadway geometric design, drainage, and traffic control plans
• Prepare and review construction documents, plan sets, and specifications for transportation projects
• Perform complex calculations including horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, and quantities
• Assist with cost estimates, bid document preparation, and design schedule management
• Serve as a technical resource for junior engineers

Qualifications/experience needed

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in roadway/transportation design
• Proficiency in MicroStation, Geopak, and/or OpenRoads Designer required
• Solid knowledge of AASHTO and state DOT roadway design standards
• EIT required minimum; working toward PE license. P.E preferred
