Medical Device Recruiters Inc. is conducting a search for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a globally recognized leader in medical device technology.
This is an opportunity to join an established product development organization working on next-generation surgical technology and take significant ownership of the electrical engineering development process. Breakthrough technology.
You’ll work on electromechanical medical devices from concept and electrical architecture through design, testing, verification and commercialization, collaborating closely with Mechanical Engineering, Software, Regulatory, Manufacturing and Product Management.
What You'll Do
- Lead electrical engineering activities on multidisciplinary new product development teams.
- Develop electrical architecture, schematics and PCB assemblies.
- Design and develop analog, digital and mixed-signal electronics.
- Lead PCB bring-up, debugging, testing and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain electrical designs using PCB design tools, including Altium.
- Support product development from early technical feasibility through commercialization.
- Work closely with Mechanical and Software Engineering to develop integrated electromechanical systems.
- Support design verification, regulatory documentation, manufacturing and product launch.
- Help solve complex technical problems and contribute to the development of new surgical technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing electronic systems and PCB assemblies.
- Experience with digital, analog and mixed-signal electronics.
- Experience with PCB layout, bring-up, debugging and testing.
- Experience taking products through a structured development process.
- Altium or similar experience
- High-speed and DDR experience is a plus.
- Medical device product development experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in other regulated or technically complex industries will also be considered.
- SolidWorks or Creo experience is a plus.
This is not a sustaining engineering position. You’ll be involved in new product development and have the opportunity to see your work progress from early concept through commercialization.

This position can be fully remote but requires the employee to reside in the state of Florida.
