Mechanical Design Engineer

MrSteam is looking for an early-career Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys hands-on product work and wants to grow into broader engineering ownership over time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to understand how products actually work - not just design them on screen.

You'll work across:

• SolidWorks 3D modeling and 2D drawings
• Product testing, lab setup, and technical reporting
• Sustaining engineering and product improvements
• Manufacturing and tooling support
• Troubleshooting mechanical, plumbing, and electrical product issues
• Supplier and technical-service support
• Cost and value-engineering projects

What we're looking for

• Hands-on mechanical engineering aptitude
• SolidWorks experience
• Strong engineering problem-solving skills beyond CAD
• Comfort working with physical products, testing, and troubleshooting
• Mechanical Engineering background preferred
• HVAC, appliance, plumbing, or similar product experience is a plus
• 0-5 years of experience, including strong recent graduates

What success looks like

During the first year, you'll build deep knowledge of MrSteam products, take on increasingly independent engineering assignments, and develop toward ownership of defined design, testing, sustaining, and product-support projects.
