Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare scope of work and technical specification documents during project proposal and execution phase.
- Review and select appropriate Fives & OEM equipment to satisfy project functional requirements during project proposal & execution phase.
- Review & verify system design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Ensure all project tasks, milestones, schedules & budgets are defined, communicated, accurately reported and met.
- Provide technical leadership to supply chain, production & field installation personnel.
- 9.Complete and communicate various progress and/or budget & schedule reports as assigned.
- Breaks-down projects into workable tasks with the SCRUM Master.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by their supervisor.
Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (four-year college or university); and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with 2D CAD skills (AutoCAD 2015 or higher)
- Proven technical leadership for medium to large scale construction or engineering projects
- Directly managed a technical team with 1-3 resources
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Project or equivalent
- Understanding and basic proficiency in pneumatics a plus
- Understanding and basic proficiency in structural platforms/mezzanines design a plus
- Understanding and basic proficiency in PLM & ERP software a plus
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, legal documents, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and customer specifications.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, internal and external customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
