**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Engineer to join our team. The Staff Engineer will be responsible for various stages of construction and design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and possess excellent technical writing skills. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Knowledge and Understanding of Florida building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent technical writing abilities for project documentation.
• Strong communication ability for preparing reports, letters and email correspondence.
• Knowledge and experience with construction documents, contractors' contracts and pay applications.
• Engineering calculations for structural design.

**Duties:**

• Prepare engineering reports related to forensic investigations.
• Utilize AutoCAD and engineering programs to create detailed drawings, calculations and schematics for engineering projects.
• Prepare technical repair specifications and drawings for structural repairs.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports for clients and contractors during construction phase of projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting $75,000 year - Dependent on experience and skills, competitive with industry standards
