Senior Electrical Engineer (JOB ID 2260)

OneSparQ is looking for Electrical Engineer for an electrical equipment manufacturing company in Pompano Beach, FL. They are looking for a Senior Electrical engineer to join their team.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD modeling
• Experience with low and medium voltage design environments for power distribution and / or control panels
• Experience selecting components from suppliers to support the design process
• Knowledgeable in product/component offerings for power distribution systems (switchboards, panel boards, ATS, MTS, camlocks, wire, electrical enclosures)
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineer or related

Additional Skills: (not required)

• Experience creating 3D designs in SolidWorks
• Experience applying UL508A and UL891 standards
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 and / or NEC requirements

Responsibilities:

• Design and support power distribution systems including switchboards, switchgear, and generators
• Review project requirements and develop appropriate electrical solutions
• Produce and maintain 2D electrical drawings such as one-lines, schematics, and panel layouts using CAD tools
• Perform electrical calculations and equipment sizing to ensure safe, reliable system operation
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and contractors to meet project requirements and timelines
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards
