About The Role

Requirements

To qualify for the Structural Engineering Internship with a potential pathway to a full-time job post-graduation, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements related to the Steel Design course:

• Academic Background:

– Enrollment or completion of a relevant engineering program (e.g., Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering) from an accredited institution.

• Coursework:

– Successful completion of foundational coursework in structural engineering, particularly with a focus on steel design principles and methodologies.

• Prerequisite Courses:

– Completion of prerequisite courses related to structural engineering, including courses in statics, mechanics of materials, and structural analysis.

• Steel Design Course:

– Enrollment in or completion of a specialized Steel Design course, covering topics such as structural steel properties, behavior, design codes and standards, connections, and practical design applications.

• Problem-Solving Abilities:

– Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve engineering problems related to steel design, both in theoretical and practical scenarios.
