Electric Machine Design Engineer (Human)

The Mechanical Development team designs the drives, structural parts, and peripherals of our robots. From first concept to manufacturing-ready drawing, this is where lightweight, precise, and series-ready components come to life.

Your mission & challenges

You develop compact, highly integrated electric machines for our robotic drives – from sizing to series release.

• Designing and integrating electric machines (rotor, stator, housing, bearings)
• Collaborating with electromagnetic and thermal simulation during sizing
• Creating manufacturing-ready 3D models and drawings
• Building and supporting prototypes, samples, and tests
• Coordinating with suppliers on manufacturing and winding technologies

• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
• Experience in the design or development of electric machines
• Understanding of electromagnetics, thermal behavior, and manufacturing processes (stamping, winding, potting)
• Confident use of 3D CAD
• Hands-on mentality and quality awareness
