Senior Mechanical Engineer for High Voltage (HV) Products (m/f/d) (ID: 22462)

Your tasks:

• Responsible for the development of HV products for electrical vehicles to fulfill customer technical specifications with focus on mechanical parts and requirements
• Interface to customer during product development phase for mechanical topics, detailed understanding of customer specification; clarification of technical requirements between multinational development team and customer (OEM)
• Design 3D models and create drawings for all parts; tolerance calculations; generate and update BOM and technical documentations
• Create mechanical DFMEA, track and implement updates; report project status to PL; technical interface to sub-suppliers
• Collaborate with electrical & validation team, project management, sales, quality, production; estimate efforts for RFQs and change requests
• Handle change management and support sales team; support QA team for quality issue investigation, 8D report creation
• Perform/support test plan creation/test realization; support VE activity; open Points list management

Your profile:

• Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering degree or equivalent
• Min. 3-5 years of experience in automotive field at Tier1 supplier and/or OEM
• Good knowledge of Catia V5, 3D modeling and drawing creation
• Experience with diecast & plastic parts design, thermal management, water cooling, HV product development
• Good communication skills, ability to work in a global and cross-functional team
• Good English language skills, German highly welcome
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
