Reliability Engineering Internship

- With Reliability Engineers’ guidance, work with Production and Maintenance department to develop Asset Hierarchy List, Document Navigation Accelerator (linked drawings), Inventory List, Spare Part List, Job Plans and Preventive Maintenance for CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Facilitate CMMS implementation in Work Order Management, Preventive Maintenance, Condition Monitoring, Inventory Management and Procurement.
- Standardize and build spare parts lists of equipment by reviewing drawings and documentation, physical line walkdowns and contacting vendors.
- Perform Data collection and some analysis within Prodac (Downtime Tracking System) exported to Excel and CMMS with interpretation and trending of highly critical equipment with common repeating failure patterns at the plant.
- Work with Reliability Engineer to perform Spare Parts optimization that support the Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) inspection tasks for the Highly Critical Assets.
- Accurately identify and add assembly drawings and P&IDs to in-house Document Navigation Accelerator (DNA) system.
- Create/Review drawings and field labels on assets to build a cross reference with standardized asset names.
- Document asset information that needs to be updated in the drawings.
- Recommend more efficient ways to sort through and categorize and standardize the items in stock.
- Assist in building Reliability and Maintenance reports and dashboards.
- Develop and update SOP’s, WI’s, Training Videos.
- Junior or Senior specializing in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering - Required.
- Proficiency in Excel (Look ups, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with AutoCAD is an asset
- Critical thinking skills, and high degree of organization are a must
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- No travel requirement
