The IPS Global Group is looking for a Lead Application Engineer SME for EAM-APM to join our team and support the implementation, configuration, and integration and delivery of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions for Transmission and Distribution System Operators (TSOs/DSOs).
Your Responsibilities
Implementation and Configuration
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of EAM/APM projects, from scope definition and requirements analysis through configuration, testing, and go-live
- Define user stories, end-to-end workflows, maintenance templates and procedures covering Preventive, Corrective, and Prescriptive Maintenance
- Configure and optimize solutions based on customer processes, requirements, and asset management strategies
- Define test cases and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing
Domain Knowledge & Integration
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in EAM/APM, asset management, maintenance, and asset performance processes
- Apply knowledge of TSO/DSO asset groups, Asset Health Indexing, criticality, and risk modeling, using relevant frameworks such as CNAIM, RCM, and ISO 55000
- Support integration and data mapping between IPS and external systems such as GIS, ERP, OMS, AIP, and SCADA, including CIM-based network topology and asset connectivity
- Identify process, data, and integration gaps and optimize configurations and workflows accordingly
Project Delivery & Stakeholders
- Work effectively in Agile and Waterfall environments, managing user stories, backlogs, and project tasks in Jira
- Proactively report project status, progress, risks, and issues to customers and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with customers, end-users, Project Management, Product Development, Software Engineering, and QA teams
- Provide customer training, knowledge transfer, and mentorship to junior engineers and new team members
Your energy
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Proven experience in EAM/APM software implementation, configuration, and integration, preferably within the energy and utilities industry
- Strong knowledge of TSO/DSO asset management and maintenance processes and major electrical asset groups
- Hands-on experience with Asset Health Indexing, criticality, and risk modeling
- Knowledge of CNAIM, RCM, ISO 55000, and IEC 61968/61970 (CIM), and network model topology and asset connectivity based on CIM (IEC 61970/61968)
- Hands-on proficiency with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including backlog management and Jira task tracking.
- Willingness and ability to mentor junior engineers, train customers, and support knowledge transfer within the team
Nice to have
- Practical coding or scripting experience with C#, T-SQL, or Python
