Job Summary
We are looking for a Transportation Engineer - Team Lead to lead transportation engineering projects, coordinate with clients and team members, and oversee project delivery from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Lead transportation engineering projects and project teams
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Review plans, designs, reports, and technical work
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and other consultants
- Mentor and support junior engineers and staff
- Assist with proposals, project planning, and business development
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred/required
- 10+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Experience with roadway, traffic, and/or transportation projects
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experience with NJDOT and local New Jersey transportation projects preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, or similar software is a plus
