Senior Project Engineer - Weld (New Model)

Role Overview: Support early feasibility studies, develop project strategies, and coordinate department activities for mass production start-up. Manage design reviews, virtual builds, and process maturation, ensuring manufacturing feasibility and timely delivery. Lead build activities, monitor progress, and mentor project teams to meet quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business plans aligned with company vision, set targets, and evaluate manufacturing impacts of new technologies.
• Coordinate design reviews, virtual builds, and provide mentorship on manufacturing characteristics.
• Manage project evaluations, build activities, and resolve pending issues across zones.
• Support mass production startup, including equipment delivery, training, and process development.
• Maintain regular meetings with stakeholders to track progress and ensure project milestones.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling (preferably CATIA), knowledge of Honda design systems, and cost management skills.

Work Conditions: Ability to lift 20 lbs, operate hand tools, and travel as needed. Flexibility to work weekends and shifts.
