About The Team
We are looking for a motivated Development Engineer - Valves (m/f/d) at our home base in Augsburg. This is a rare opportunity allowing you to be involved in demanding development efforts that are supported by parallel test campaigns allowing us to close short-iteration development cycles at fast pace. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping production costs at an absolute minimum.
Your Tasks
- Design various fluidic components and valves
- Develop components from concept, through detailed design and production support to testing and integration
- Define and maintain requirements with a strong focus on system-reliability
- Create CAD models and manufacturing documentation of components and assemblies
- Collaborate with the production, testing and AIT teams
- Resolve non-conformances
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years of professional experience in the design/development of valves. Student team experience and internships are considered a plus
- Good CAD skills (Siemens NX or other)
- Self-starter with minimal input
- Extremely proactive and always looking for the “what can be done next”
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Structured way of working
- Business level English
