In this role, you will develop and optimize mechanical components and assemblies in the field of rotors and flight control systems for modern aircraft. You will create 3D models and technical drawings, manage changes throughout the entire product lifecycle and support the implementation of complex engineering requirements. You will work closely with customers, manufacturing teams and interdisciplinary development teams while ensuring compliance with aerospace-specific standards.

Your responsibilities:


  • Creation and modification of 3D models and 2D drawings for individual parts and assemblies
  • Analysis of technical requirements and development of suitable design solutions
  • Design of components made from metallic and composite materials
  • Implementation of product improvements and technical changes
  • Definition and coordination of industrial requirements with relevant specialist departments
  • Creation, maintenance and approval of technical documentation
  • Processing of engineering changes via ECR and ECP processes in SAP
  • Support in the analysis and resolution of quality deviations and non-conformities (NC)
  • Maintenance of product structures and configuration data using PLM processes
  • Support of maintenance and repair activities through technical documentation and change notifications
  • Technical coordination with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements


Your profile:


  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in mechanical design and the development of components and assemblies
  • Good knowledge of creating 2D and 3D models
  • Experience with CATIA V5 and ideally 3DEXPERIENCE
  • Knowledge of PLM systems such as ENOVIA VPM or PDMLink (Windchill)
  • Experience with SAP EC2 and engineering change processes
  • Understanding of aerospace-specific development and documentation processes
  • Business-fluent English and good German language skills
