Senior Engineer Water - Treatment, Wellington

This is a technical opportunity within WSP’s national Water and Wastewater Treatment team, suited to an experienced treatment engineer with strong technical judgement, client focus, and leadership capability.

As a Senior Engineer Water in the Treatment team, you will provide expert advice across water and/or wastewater treatment projects, leading complex investigations and designs from concept through to construction. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients, shaping high‑quality outcomes while mentoring others and promoting technical excellence across the business.

This is a full time role 40 hours per week.

Salary - $100,000 - $120,000

About You

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Water, Civil or Environmental)
  • Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in Water and Water Process Engineering projects
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Extensive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering
  • Strong communication skills and a client‑focused mindset
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to professional standards
