Chassis Design Engineer

We are seeking a Jr. D&R Engineer to support the design, development, and release of automotive chassis components and systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with chassis components and Siemens NX, along with a strong understanding of automotive engineering and product development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of automotive chassis components and assemblies.
• Create, modify, and review 3D models using Siemens NX.
• Support engineering changes, design reviews, and product releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to resolve engineering issues.
• Assist with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of chassis components.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and technical specifications.
• Ensure designs meet applicable engineering, quality, and manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive chassis engineering or component design.
• Hands-on experience designing or developing chassis components, such as suspension, steering, brake, wheel, subframe, or related systems.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens NX for 3D modeling and design.
• Understanding of automotive chassis systems and component functionality.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and applying basic GD&T principles.
• Understanding of automotive product development and engineering change processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
• Familiarity with vehicle development and release processes.
• Experience supporting testing and validation activities.
